The McCoy triplets are here!

Bella, Kaitlyn, and Crawford were born last Thursday afternoon at 31wks 1d! I am so happy for MaryBeth and Brent - you guys are going to be wonderful parents! The babies are all over 3 pounds and breathing on their own! MaryBeth is recovering well from surgery and I think Brent is doing good too (one proud papa!) Now a family of five -what a blessing! You can see their first pics on Brent's blog.

MaryBeth and I met in kindergarten, and became best buds - like sisters. We grew up doing everything together. Alot of great memories! We ended up going to different high schools and colleges, but we always stayed in contact like we promised we would. I was in her wedding and she was in mine. I will never forget the day she told me she was pregant with triplets - I was sooo excited and happy for her. What are the odds that two best friends both are blessed with triplets and within 2 years of each other! I can't wait for the day when I can see all of our children running and playing together.

MaryBeth and Brent came to visit us earlier this year to see our triplets in action. They were so great with the kids and they seemed so prepared for this wonderful journey ahead of them. I hope that Kevin and I were able to help them with our advice and experience (not that we really know what we are doing! ;) You guys made it through the pregnancy, now let the fun begin! All the smiles, hugs, and love times three!

Out and About

Now that RSV season is finally over, we have been taking the triplets out as much as possible. They made their first trip to mommy's favorite store - Target! We have also taken them to Lowes and Home Depot. We have been taking the double stroller and either the single or putting someone in a shopping cart, which they love! This way no one even notices that we have triplets, which is great! None of the dumb comments: "You must have your hands full", "Are those triplets?", and one of my favorites, "Are they all yours?".

On Mother's Day we took them to a park for the first time and they loved it! They all ran around and explored the play equipment. And they LOVED the swings! Too bad I didn't have my camera. We will go back soon for more fun! We are also planning a trip to the zoo soon! Yeah for warm weather!
