Gearing up for the BIG Birthday Bash!

Well it's almost here! And I can't wait to celebrate my little miracle munchkins turning one! And amazingly I am all prepared - only a little cooking, cleaning, and setup to do. No last minute scrambling, which is amazing for me - the ultimate procrastinator!

The triplets are doing sooo well, I couldn't ask for more. Kelen started pulling up to standing this week. It's amazing how fast they can start doing things. He just started pulling up on his knees less than 2 weeks ago! Also, they are all holding their own bottles now! YEAH! I thought that would never come.

5 Runny Noses

Well, I haven't posted for a while because we have all been sick with head colds. I got it first, then Kelen, then Cory and Ella, and lastly Kevin had to get in on the fun! Sucking out 3 baby noses all day isn't my idea of a good time. Oh, well, I can't complain too much, this was pretty mild for sick kids. We survived and are all almost back to 100%. Just in time for their 1st birthday! It is rapidly approaching and I think we are all ready to celebrate. Fran helped me get the birthday outfits together and the menu and decor. My mom is coming next week to help me clean the house and get set up.

Ella finally has teeth poking in on the bottom, so she will not be toothless on her birthday. Kelen is close to pulling up, he plays on his knees alot and his crawl is getting better. Cory is Cory. Someone forgot to tell him he is a preemie! He is starting to cruise along furniture. He will be walking soon. He is also saying something close to dada.

September 10th

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary! and my mom's birthday! Tonight Kevin and I get to go out to a Cardinals game! Yippie. Thanks so much Amy for watching the kiddos for us. Here are some of my favorite pics of us over the years. We have been together almost 7 years now.

One year ago...

A year ago yesterday I remember racing to the hopital because I was bleeding and having contractions. I was only 24 weeks along and I thought I was going to lose my precious babies. I went through several days of the horrible magnesium sulfate, but it was worth it because it stopped the contractions and I had only dilated to 2 cm. I was able to keep them in for another 4 weeks, which made all the difference in the world for their survival and future. Now here we are a year later with 3 beautiful, healthy, & happy children!

Cory is such a wild man! I bought this toy a few months ago because it was on clearance at Wal-Mart thinking they could use it once they got closer to walking. Well, Cory loves this thing! I am so glad I bought it. He is practically running around it now!

Busy holiday weekend

Kevin finally got to take a day of vacation! So it was a four day holiday weekend for us. On Saturday we went to a Greek festival and ate some yummy greek food and listened to greek music. The kids seemed to enjoy it too. Saturday evening we went to a neighbor's party. We could only stay for a little while since the trips go to bed so early.

As for the triplets - they are growing at warp speed now. We moved them into new carseats last weekend because they were outgrowing their infant car seats. All three of them are crawing although they all have very different styles! Cory can pull to standing now! Holy cow! He looks like such a big boy. And Ella said da-da! I knew she would be the first one to talk - she's a girl. Daddy was proud.

He will be walking before we know it.
